Found some nice blooms out in the Superstition Mountains last month. Having not scouted earlier in the day I found myself running up the mountainside literally chasing the sunlight as it crept further behind the ridge line to the west. So "sunset" was a bit earlier than expected. Luckily I came across this patch just in time. The cool clouds burned off just after sunset. And next time I'll head out there not during a rare heat wave in early April. Was HOT!
