There are five waterfalls in Gooseberry Falls State Park in Minnesota. The Fifth Falls is actually the first waterfall that the water goes over on its way to Lake Superior. That means it's the longest hike from the bottom and not too many people visit it. On this day I was able to get out into the middle of flow. You are looking at the top part of the falls and the bottom part is behind me and the water was roaring past me. I could not hear my wife singing in full voice, "How Great Thou Art" ! Truly, a Magnificat experience!
