Thank you for the comments on the creativity, composition , color & lighting on this photo. It was one of those split seconds when you see something & just have to capture it! I really enjoyed doing this one.

Location
This photo was taken in my very small, naturally rather dark spare bedroom.Time
Approximately 1:30 - 2:00am while I was finally unpacking a couple of days after Christmas. I had received the set of pens as a gift from my sister.Lighting
There was one overhead incandescent fixture with one 60 watt bulb in an otherwise dark room. It was exactly what this shot needed.Equipment
This shot was a spur of the moment vision. The only equipment I had readily available was the camera on my LG Stylo 2 cell phone. The lighting was already perfect for this shot so no flash was used. The HDR setting was turned off also.Inspiration
My inspiration for this shot came as soon as I unpacked this pen set and layed it on the carpet. The color of the carpet just seemed to make all the other colors "pop". The light was perfect! I grabbed up my phone, framed the shot and took it.Editing
The only post processing I did was to do some PIP additions. That's where the wine glass and flower came into play. No color or lighting changes at all. It sorta just fell into place. In my camera bag
Normally I have my Canon DSLR nearby. The additional lenses I carry are an 80 - 200 zoom lens and my macro lens. Plus I always make sure to have an extra battery charged!Feedback
The only thing I have to say about this is to always have your "artist's eyes" open, a camera close at hand and your creativity flowing!
