Location
Taken in Nov. 2016 in Goa, India. For an amateur photographer, whatever catches my eye, having an interesting angle to it, forces me to capture it. I usually use my Nikon DSLR or my handy Lenovo P2 cell phone to capture such moments!Time
Early noon when the sun wasn't yet in it's blazing glory! I had been observing this father-daughter duo for quite some time. The father was encouraging his princess that she could do it. I knew by the look of the little girl that she was highly determined to ensure she could ride the bicycle on her own for quite a distance. The moment was perfect when she overtakes her dad!Lighting
Nothing much as the lighting was perfect throughout my patient wait! The background did not matter much (especially the sea been calm), as had placed my shot in advance and was moving slowly as she was riding to get the perfect moment she overtakes.Equipment
My guess is, I used my Lenovo P2 cellphone.Inspiration
The only inspirational moment here while strolling on the beach was, when I spotted the father and daughter riding their bicycles with constant encouragement from the father! The little girl was equally determined and i knew for sure, she would overtake him!Editing
Not much! Just a little cropping I guess. There wasn't much needed. In my camera bag
Nikon DSLR D5300, Nikkor 18-55mm VR and Nikkor 55-200mm VR lenses along with batteries, charger, memory cards, cleaning kit, Lenovo P2 cell phone for impromptu photos and my photographers jacket.Feedback
Its all about patience and capturing the right moment through your camera. Decide what exactly you want to capture, like a before and after event or an ongoing event (sunset, sunrise) that gives you lot of hues and shades of light as time passes by. Keep in mind the moving objects or the continuous bursts that you want to capture, which can later be worked upon during post-processing.
