The weather is cold, hot and snowy, after a scenic hike from Lake Louise for some tea and cake we pootle a little higher up. A harsh bang and cracking sound can be heard and we anticipate the heavens opening once again and contemplate turning back, then we realise it isn't the sky at all but the mountain. Mist is forming in the early Spring heat and snow pours like waterfalls in pitfalls all over the peaks, we take a pew and try to decide whether the mountain is friend or foe, either way it's beautiful.
