Doesn't it just feel like the tree is trying to escape the dry, parched, dusty earth and is reaching to the skies for water, for life. Unfortunately it was too late. I took this while exploring the Deadvlei in Namibia in 2016. There were many trees but this one really stood out. Reaching with all its might towards the heavens.
