Location
This photo was taken in the country overlooking a swamp down our gravel road. There is endless opportunities to photograph sunsets here and probably one of my favorite places for taking pictures.Time
This picture was taken around 8:00 o'clock in the evening, one of the most beautiful times for taking pictures.Lighting
This particular evening, there was a haze in the sky. I used the sun and sky as a backdrop so that the plant I was photographing would be the item at the forefront and in focus.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon EOS-50D camera with a EF-S 55-250mm Zoom lens.Inspiration
I enjoy experimenting and trying different things. Sometimes, just the sun itself can be boring and if I can add something else into the image, then the photo becomes a little more interesting. The plant seems to showcase the sun in the background.Editing
