Thanks! Easily! I made a special camera mount and put it on the cat shoulders, so his face was always looking into the lens. And when all I needed was release the shutter remotely and hand-flash him from different angles, until I've got a needed look.t.

Behind The Lens

Location
The photo was taken during the cats casting for the feature film comedy "The House Elf" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9875852/reference). The cat played one of the main roles in the movie. As the cat supposed to talk, I needed to take a bunch of still images to make its head digital model for the visual effects department use.
Time
It was taken on the stage of the Kuklachev Cat Theater in Moscow, so it was complete darkness with my 2 flashes
Lighting
I put a softbox with 600W flashlight from the front-right as a main light and put a small direct flashlight on a stand behind the creature from its top-left.
Equipment
Fujifilm XT-10 with Godox portable flash heads and Godox trigger for Fuji.
Inspiration
I had to do this as part of my work on the visual effects of this film as a supervisor of visual effects in production.
Editing
Not much. Just cleaned the background and tuned the contrast. And of course, cut its head in half!!
In my camera bag
Usually I keep in my car truck Fuji XT-2 and XT-10 with 90, 56 and 23 primes and 16-55 zoom, few reflectors and softboxes, few on-camera Godox flashes with stands and trigger.
Feedback
To save time, try to glue the cat to the table fist thing at the session start! I did it only after a couple hours and wasted a lot of time...
