Before waves engulfed them
The tide was quite high when I arrived at the beach. Literally there was just a bit of beach left to walk in. I wasn’t paying attention to the phase of the moon, so I was slightly surprised by the sight. Later when I checked it, we were three days short of the full moon. There wasn’t a single spot that I liked to set up my camera, so I plodded farther down along the stretch of the narrow rock beach. Soon I reached the end where I saw the waves were reaching the bottom of the cliff. When the tides aren’t high, I could easily walk around it. Now, I would time it to make it to the other side. I was not sure how high the tides would come in on my way back later, so I decided to settle here. I also loved the sunset glow cast on these huge glistening rock beds in front of me. All I had to be careful about was capture it before the waves rolled in too fast and engulfed them.
