Hwy 1 in California going up the coast toward Big Sur.

Time

Mid afternoon.

Afternoon sun.

Equipment

Nikon D3000 with my Tamron 70mm-300mm lens.

Inspiration

We were watching for whales and dolphins. This amazing rock formation was the perfect breakwater that was churning the sea into a foamy and beautiful turquoise. The contrast between the deep blue sea and the light blue turquoise was quite breathtaking and just begging for a photograph.

Editing

I just used the Photos app for windows.
