The photo was taken in my home country Slovakia and it’s beautiful mountains High Tatras.Time
It was during one of the easier hikes so around lunchtime while everyone was enjoying their dinner, me and my friends were covered in snow wandering these beautiful mountains.Lighting
I believe that the best lingering is natural and especially in winter when everything’s covered by snow, the sunlight is reflecting from the sparking frozen surface and creates a hard contrast between highlights and shadows.Equipment
It was one of my first shots I took on my (back then new) iPhone.Inspiration
The nature itself. Out of all the beautiful sceneries there were, the path created by previous travelers left a mark on otherwise empty field of snow surrounded by mountain peaks.Editing
I usually do a lot of processing, color correcting and editing to create a dreamy look, but for this one, I wanted to keep the picture natural, as it reflects the beauty, softness and yet the hardness of the mountains.In my camera bag
I usually carry my iPhone as it is small and easy to use. When I’m with my so, however, we take a Sony camera with a few different lenses depending on where we’re heading.Feedback
