Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot at Hyde Park, London as I was walking through the park with my wife. This guy was so inquisitive and hungry at the same time climbed up to the metal fence and started begging for treats. I was so lucky to have my camera in my hand and ready for action!

Time

It was an early Spring afternoon.

Lighting

I was not ready for anything. Just pointed and taken several shots on burst mode! Flash did not fire and the natural light was enough to take this lovely shot. I do not think I will ever get this opportunity again. Lucky me! :-D

Equipment

Just my old Fuji camera. I do not consider my self a pro cameraman. I have a lot to learn.

Inspiration

I love to take nature photographs. Most of the time I walk in the parks I take my camera with me in my bag. Where ever there is an opportunity I jump on it!

Editing

I used Adobe Lightroom to balance the colours and bring out the subject into prime focus. I do not usually crop my photos. I try my best to frame the photo then and there.

In my camera bag

My camera and my wife's camera. We love to walk and take photos of nature. So no need for a flashgun and most of the time we take photos as we walkthrough. So, no tripods. We like telephoto lenses as we can focus on near and far objects without change of lenses.

Feedback

Be ready with your camera or mobile phone camera. These precious moments cannot be reenacted, if you are not ready for the moment, you will lose the opportunity forever! So good luck!
