The hike was a bit hard this day, with a lot of mud and Rain, but finally these conditions and the efforts often give good recompenses, better than expected. Despite of the Rain this small humming bird was still working hard, and wasn't discouraged either by the rain. Colombia is the country with highest biodiversity in the world for bird species, a real pleasure to discover it !

Amazing shoot!, I tryed and tryed too shoot some good ones of the hummingbird when i was i Colombia, but very difficult. They are like hyperactives lill rockets flying in al directions super fast. hehe. Love your shoot!!!

A truly spectacular shot. My favorite of yours that I've seen posted, both here and on your personal website, and that's saying a lot! Can't give you enough compliments on this. The composition, balance, bokeh, lighting....it is an unqualified masterpiece of a photo in my book! National Geographic quality. There may have been a measure of luck in being there at the right moment, but your eye and skill is what made this shot!!
