Something different (Light Painting)

So I have wanted to do these light balls or Orbs as some people call them for sometime now but didn't have the right tool for the job.

I finally put my soldering skills to the test and produced my own orb making gadget. I'm going to refine it to get more accurate orbs but for the meantime I'm happy with the result.

Since the moon was out I figured I'd head over to my favourite spot at the Beetling Mill in the Roe Park and give this "Light Orb" thing a go and possibly capture some lovely detail on the inside of the old building walls.

I have seen so many of these light orb photos but thought I would add off camera flash to give the image more dynamic effect. I feel it gives the image impact and added some character but I'd be happy to here your comments on this either way.
