An early start for this one! I set off from home at around 2am, exhausted but determined it would all be worth it. A couple of weeks ago, I did the same thing at the same location; a super early wake up call and an exhausting hike, only to be disappointed with a bank of cloud over the horizon! I went home tired and empty handed. With a clear sky forecast and Meteoearth cloud forecasts showing completely clear to the east, I went at it again. It can be the most frustrating feeling; making a lot of effort only to have to drive home without an image, but when it works, it makes all those dull moments every bit worth it. Persistance always pays off!
