Max, great shot, thanks for posting it! A couple things you might consider when you are composing shots. 1. headspace 2. "eye" lines, or leading lines in the shot.
Regarding headspace, consider how much you need so it doesn't feel like there is a "roof" over the subject, does that make sense? In this case, you might consider cropping some of the sky down, so as not to steal attention from the subject. As for leading lines, i see three in this photo, but they almost compete with each other...the girl splits the photo in half, which is one, the beach transition behind her another, and the angle of the buildings from right to left in the background a third. You might try framing your shot so one of those lines is "dominant" I hope that makes sense...message me if you like, i can explain a little more. Cheers!
