Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my home 'Studio' in Prague. I am amateur photographer and this photo was first try to take photo with black perspex plastic board. New experience.

Time

This photo was taken in my home studio (kitchen) on March ?21, ?2017, ??8:55 PM.

Lighting

I used one Godox flash with lightbox and one white board in order to bounce the light.

Equipment

This was shoot on a Nikon D7000 with Nikon 85mm f/1,8 AF-S G lens and Godox V860II-N flash.

Inspiration

I always liked similarly stylized photos, so I thought that I'd give it try something like that. I was inspired by a video on YouTube by Karl Taylor. The Vietnamese Pork Banh Mi Sandwich was my idea as I really like it :) This was my first try with black perspex plastic board and I think it was succeeded.

Editing

Only post-processing I used here was creating circular gradient of background in Photoshop.

In my camera bag

Nowadays I have Nikon D750 camera. My lenses I own are Nikon 35mm f/1,8 G AF-S ED which is really perfect lens for streetphoto even portrait photography. As I am big fan of Steve McCurry, I bought second-hand Nikkor 105mm Ai-S f/2.5 lens which has really nice soft background bokeh. Other lense are Nikon 50mm f/1.8 G AF-S which is must have lens, Tamron SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di USD, Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G1 and of course Nikon 85mm f/1,8 AF-S G lens.

Feedback

Who really love taking photos often tries to do something new or something they already saw somewhere and want to try it yourself. Don't afraid to try something new and looking for inspiration wherever. If you don't have appropriat equpment, try to find different option, internet is full of inspiration even competition like this.
