Lindaá river is in the northern highland of Iceland. The source is at the roots of the national mountain Herðubreið. The area is totally unpolluted and is totally pure. The water is drinkable straight from the river as long as you are sure there is no dead animal further up the river. The area is a desert, but this river is a spring fed river, and along it is the beautiful vegetation. Angelica is a plant that is noticeable along the river along with the Arctic River Beauty. This is my favorite area in the world. It's along the road to Askja, the caldera. This image is orginally a JPEG, this is since before I started to shoot in RAW.
