Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in one of my friends shed/studio.

Time

I think it was in the noon, the weather was not that great, as we had planned to do some dog shots outside, but ended up in the studio.

Lighting

I have set up three speedlights, inside softboxes. Two on Westcott softboxes and one with a grid. One key from the right, one rim from the left and the speedlight with the grid was illuminating the background.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon d750 with an 85mm f1.8 G lens.

Inspiration

My dog, she inspires me every day.

Editing

I did some usual Lightroom raw corrections and some Photoshop for levels and curves.

In my camera bag

In this particular case I think I had my Nikon d750, Nikon 85mm f1.8 and a 50mm lens. As for lighting I had two Nikon sb910 speedlights and two Westcott softboxes.

Feedback

The best advice is to have a lot of treats and some toys. Let your dog play for a while to get them tired. After that is pretty easy to have them still.
