Lofty ambition

Rider in action at the now-defunct Mallory Park motocross track, October 2012. I was there to watch a motorcycle race meeting on the adjacent Mallory Park circuit, but the nearby motocross provided an engaging diversion. Sadly, the additional noise wasn't well received by all local residents and the whole venue's future subsequently hung in the balance while arguments raged. The dust eventually settled and Mallory continued to function as a racing circuit, albeit without any more motocross. I have a feeling that this is the last time the dirt track was used.
