I was out viewing the poppies and I turned onto a road where there were a lot of poppies on the side of the road. There were so many cars parked on the side of the road and so many people trampling through them. I looked ahead on the road and about a half a mile down I saw a patch of Joshua Trees with yellow flowers all around them and no cars. I drove up and parked and started shooting staying mostly on the path mindful of all the small yellow flowers. The great thing about this was I was in the midst of all this beauty, taking my time shooting ..... Alone! <3
