An exercise in light painting an otherwise pitch black night at Fort Griffin State Historic Site near Albany Texas was visited for just a moment by a passing glint of light overhead. While this view doesn't give you the deep core of the Milky Way, this 'outer edge' detail holds its own interest with a strong foreground.
