Location
The photo was taken nearby Roztochya Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve) in Ukraine.Time
That was a nice warm beginning of a new day. I was waiting for sunrise.Lighting
It was a time when the sun had not yet descended on the horizon. There were a few stars in the sky. So I was forced to use the built-in flash of my camera.Equipment
No tripod was used, just Nikon D800 with it's built-in flash and all-round lens - Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6Inspiration
I just wanted to take a good photo of butterfly. At the beginning it was enough to me to capture a beautiful butterfly during daylight. Later I began to photograph butterflies in the first raies of the sun. Especially I liked morning with dew on flowers and butterflies. But this photo came out quite different - without any dew and any ray of the sun)Editing
Basically, I do a post-processing of all my photos, sometimes a lot of it. But this one I did a very little post-processing (80% it was converting RAW).In my camera bag
I had Nikon D800 with Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 and Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8Feedback
Try to see beauty in every moment of life. Do not miss the opportunity to take a good shot even in unfavorable conditions. When I was taking this photo - there wasn't any beautiful natural light. But I tried to make it with built-in flash. The photo was amazing. Late I tried to made another photo already with the natural light, but it was not so interesting.
