I enjoyed a pleasant & totally clear night along the Oregon Coast. It was quite dark due to a new moon, so ambient light before dawn helped illuminate the rugged sea stacks here. I ended up spending several hours on the rocks here, listening to music and taking a nap while I tried to run a star trails - timelapse sequence. I failed to check to make sure it was running properly so I wasted an hour and missed a good opportunity. Regardless, it was a memorable night under the stars.
