there is a magical walk from the end of the road (by car) to the closest town to Machipicchu. I was so happy to take this "outside my confort zone" and see such wonderful places plus meet wonderful people. Not only the arqueological place is magic, I think Machupicchu is magical because the place itself is magical. The mountains, the plants, the rivers, the rocks, everything is calling the great mother nature alive.
