One of my "lucky" shots. Captured this one night during a thunder storm. Yes, I got two lightning strikes at once, no special Photoshop edit for the strikes, just for a bit of color enhancement. Used my standard Nikon D3200 equipment.

At night during a thunderstorm over the city of BloemfonteinLighting
This was a one-in-a-million shot. I have always been fascinated by weather and clouds, and this evening the weather was wild and I decided to get my gear out and give it a shot. It took me quite a while to get this shot by chance. I was just doing shot after shot, and eventually I got this one! As I say, a one-in-a-million shot and I was given 2 lightning strikes at the same time!Equipment
I used my Nikon D3200 with normal kit lens, and tripod. I used bulb mode and just kept on doing it over and over again until it happened!Inspiration
As I mentioned, I have a fascination with weather, and I have always dreamed of getting a lightning strike shot without any special gear, and that is exactly what happened here.Editing
I only enhanced the color a little bit, very small amount, and that is it. So it is basically almost out of camera. In my camera bag
I still use my Nikon D3200 with 70-200mm kit lens, and then I use my Nikon D5600 with 50mm 1.8 G AF-S lens and 18-55mm VR (Kit lens).Now I also own a Canon 7DMkII with 24-105mm f4 L IS USM lens.Feedback
Patience, a lot of patience, and a whole lot of luck!
