Used the 6x7 professionally from 1977 to 1999, then switched to digital. Loved the camera and the results it could produce. Still have four bodies and two of every lens made for it, haven't opened the box since 1999 but I know where it is if I were to ever want to shoot some fil. Thanks for the memory!

seeing this made me think of the first SLR I got as a gift at 7 years old, 35mm Nikkormat. The best viewfinder, light meter and slit focus ring. Never failed to produce great shots when coupled with my favorite film Kadachrome and Ecktachrome... I actually miss those days when you had to be more conscious of the scene, setting before taking the shot.

Yeah, that was, and still is a nice option for this new digital way of shooting. It was good that photographer needed to think everything before taking the picture. There is some videos in youtube where they use film cameras to shoot commercial photos. One that comes to my mind is a car commercial and they moved the background while shutter was open to make the car look like it’s moving in the frame. Also there was a platform under the tires and they moved it also to make rims look like they’r spinning. It used to be a hassle to make a professional looking commercial picture.
