The weather called for clearing skies on Palomar Mountain, so I thought I'd take the MINI Countryman for a ride to the mountain at sunset. The weather was wrong. It was full of low lying clouds, but I managed to snag a good shot a little lower on the mountain as the sun started to hit the horizon.

Timing clear skies and a full moon can be hard, but I manged to snag this star trail over the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur on my last road trip.
