Behind The Lens

I went out into our back yard and this guy had been hanging around for a couple of days.

Early morning just when the sky had this grayish cast to it

It was all natural lighting which I feel is the best for this kind of image.

Nikon 5300 DSLR with Nikkor with 18-300mm lens

I love doing wildlife images. This one was a real treat because I could just walk out my backdoor.

Did a little tweaking in Adobe Lightroom but very minimal.

In my camera bag

The above mentioned Nikkor 18-300mm, Tamron SP45mm and a Tamron 150-600 for distance.

The best advice I can offer is patience. Wait for the right time of day to get that shot you really want.
