The title of this image may sound like a weird choice, but it will become relevant after reading the story. I discovered this beach the previous evening and told my wife about it, and said to her you must come with me tomorrow to watch the sunset. Normally I'll go on my own when taking pictures in the evening (she's happy to stay at the hotel drink wine and read a book) so we jump on the moped and ride to the location. Somehow we entered the beach through a different gate on this evening and after watching the sunset, we get back on the moped to leave (it's now dark) and we get to the gate and it's locked. Nobody in sight. Except a little hut with the door closed but light coming from within. So, I knock politely and wait for an answer. Nothing. I think this is why my wife is always happy to leave me to go on photography trips on my own, because I always seem to end up in sticky situations. We head back down to the beach area, as we know it does have a small wall. Probably to stop people taking transport on there. Has anybody ever tried lifting a moped over a two foot wall? I have, it's not easy. We make it along the beach eventually with some effort, and do find an small exit point further up (through some bushes). The moped rental place said no off roading. If only they knew.
