Tulip „Couleur Cardinal“ has a commanding presence in early-mid spring even if it is a quite short kind of Tulip. The flowers are deep-red and resists quite well the rain. It’s a very old tulip as it was introduced in 1845 and it is still quite popular. The photo was taken during rain in our garden in front of our house in Germany.
