Decisions, decisions......to stop down to get the whole flower, somewhere in between, or wide open to create somehing more artistic? When shooting macro, one has to decide how to shoot the subject. Some will rail against blur, some will embrace it. It is all subjective, and a matter of taste. Always a tough decision. This shot, I decided to go wide open to create a soft white blur around the dark and colorful center.
