This photo I made in the studio "Smart", which is located in Minsk. I have long wanted to make beautiful photos in the "Pin-Up" style.Time
This was done on October 26, 2015. Until that time, I've seen a lot of images in the "Pin Up" style. It was important for me to convey the atmosphere of that time. I wanted to make a bright and colorful shot.Lighting
For this photo I used 4 light sources. I installed the main source from the front. At the back, I put two sources to illuminate the outline of the model. And one more source I highlighted the background. I used a yellow background to make the picture colorful.Equipment
Unfortunately I'm a poor photographer and I can not buy myself a professional camera. Therefore, so far, I am photographing Nikon D90 on an old camera. I always have three lenses - Pentacon 50 mm/f 1.8, Pentacon 135 mm/f2.8. These are two very old lenses of the 1960s and 1970s . I made this photo with a lens Nikon 35mm/f 2.0Inspiration
Why did I choose this photo for the contest? I knew that photographers would use pictures in a modern style. I was sure that it would be photos of girls on the beach. I did not want to repeat this idea. So I decided to make an original, not like the rest of the picture. I chose studio photography and bright colors.Editing
. In the processing I did not use anything complicated. Basically, I cleaned up the skin. This I did with the method of frequency decomposition into three frequencies. I always use this method to process portraits. This is the best way to make a beautiful portrait. In my camera bag
I always have three lenses - Pentacon 50 mm/f 1.8, Pentacon 135 mm/f2.8 and Nikon 35mm/f 2.0. With such a set of equipment, you can always make beautiful portraitsFeedback
My friends, always watch the light fall. Try to feel the model and then how the light falls on it. Experiment with light. Do not be afraid to make mistakes and then you will succeed. I wish all good light!
