Red kites were successfully re-introduced into England and have become established. Their flight is exceptionally graceful and a pleasure to watch. The diet of red kite is mostly carrion. Despite this they are becoming illegally persecuted and killed, usually through poisoned bait, by people that don't care for biodiversity, animal suffering or the pleasure other people get from watching them. After a series of kills in Yorkshire I thought it was time to show one as it should be seen.
