Location
This photo was taken at the reservoir in the city of Neryungri, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), RussiaTime
It was one of the sunny warm winter days, when I decided to go on the reservoir to make new photos. I was very lucky with the weather and the sun. The photo was taken at the beginning of my journey. At that time, it was somewhere 2PMLighting
In these days of winter sun always goes low. And very quickly away into the sunset. Therefore it is important to have time to quickly achieve the desired places and take photos. The situation is complicated by the fact that the sun goes behind the mountains in the distance, and not just for the flat horizon.Equipment
To shoot camera I used the Canon 5D Mark III, together with the lens Canon 24-105mm F/4Inspiration
Since the street was relatively cold, but the water reservoir was warm, all around was covered with frost. Including the bridge over the spillway was covered with intricate patterns. I wanted to take pictures of all of this untouched beauty, before going over the bridge.Editing
Post-processing for this image was the standard for me. Color correction, adding sharpness. Few pairs pulled from the water in the background. In my camera bag
In addition to the camera Canon 5D mark III, I always take a Canon lenses 24-105 mm F/4, 28-300 mm F/3.5-5.6, and Sigma lens Fisheye 15 mm F/2.8Feedback
If you're going to go take pictures of winter, keep in mind that daylight is shorter, and the need to count their plans, considering this. However, the winter sun has one definite plus - the sun almost all the time goes along the horizon, creating a favorable light for landscape photos
