Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken in my home studio in London.

Time

I took this image in the morning which is my favourite time of day, very peaceful. I love the light at this point in the day.

Lighting

I used the light coming in from the skylight above and from the front.

Equipment

Canon EOS 100D with kit lens

Inspiration

I love taking close-up and macro shots of flowers and this was a very beautiful subject for me. The colours and shapes.

Editing

Yes I used Lightroom to edit this image.

In my camera bag

I keep all my kit with me -camera, multiple lenses, cleaning kit, glass ball for creative shots and one flash.

Feedback

Flowers are great subjects to learn how to shoot with, especially indoors if you aren’t always able to get out.
