Behind The Lens

Location

This is a photo made in Hu?tawka Studio, Warsaw, Poland. (The studio's name is Swing in English and it is on this swing that the model is sitting). This was made during a "Sensual Women" workshop with a semiprofessional model. As a matter of fact this was just the warm-up for a shooting session, but as it sometimes happens the photo made it to the final selection.

Time

The photo was shot during a midday of in winter.

Lighting

The studio had large windows so there was quite enough of light and as the day was cloudy it is well dispersed.

Equipment

The photo was shot with my previous Nikon 7200 camera with a simple Nikkor 35 mm/1.8 lens.

Inspiration

This was not a particularly prepared shot. Natalia was resting on the swing and at some moment she just sat in this way and looked at me with the camera.

Editing

The photo was touched up in Lightroom -- cropped and I played a bit with contrast/whites/shadows/blacks etc.

In my camera bag

At this moment I use mostly Nikon 750 camera and Sigma Art 85 mm/1.4 lens.

Feedback

Take your time to help the models relax.
