Location
On a safari of a life time in Botswana. This was taken on the Selinda concession, the camp we stayed in is owned by Dereck and Beverly JoubertTime
Quite late in the morning. We had been tracking these two lionesses and three cubs since 8am. We watched them cross water and attempt to hunt but it was getting warm and the cubs needed a rest. It was reaching 9am and getting very warm. We were watching them come across a small plain of grass and I was waiting on one of the females to come around the tree, then they stopped and the cubs started climbing.Lighting

You need to find a good lodge/camp with good guides that know a thing or two about photography.
