Location
This photo was taken in Africa aboard a Globemaster. I had only my cell phone, but managed to capture it brilliantly.Time
This was early morning if I recall correctly, however I was tired having been in the air often during that period.Lighting
This was simply the natural lighting available. Some times my best photos have been with what was on hand.Equipment
This was taken with a Sony Xperia X Performance. They come equipped with a fantastic 23 mp sensor.Inspiration
I loved the way the sunlight was trickling inside with the fellas' silhouette and the leading lines of the floor.Editing
Yes, I made it into sepia, as it's a favourite way of mine to showcase some of my work.In my camera bag
This was taken with my Sony Xperia X Performance. I carry a Canon 70D, Tamron 18-270 as my walk-around lens. I also carry a Sigma 10-20 F/3.5 DC HSM, a Canon EF 50 1.8 STM, a Canon L series 24-70 F2.8 II, various Tiffen UV/haze filters, Kenko Pro1 ND's, Cameron CPF's. I have a TriggerTrap cable to experiment with for long exposures etc. A Metz 44 AF-1 flash unit rounds out my bag.Feedback
Use what is on hand and seize the opportunity. You would be surprised what you can capture when you start looking at each opportunity presented. Take the time to vision your photo, what you want to draw attention to. Try to capture a story and not simply a random click.
