Going back to my roots in Northern Ontario I was shocked to see the beautiful landscapes I had taken for granted. The big pine trees, the lonely cedars and the wispy birch trees that stood solidly welcoming my return as I drove down my beloved dirt road. On this particular hike I found the sky to be particularly dramatic, with conifer looking cutouts, and the cold air in my nose I snapped the shutter. To me this tells the story of home, and the north.
