Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in Volkspark Friedrichshain, Berlin on a beautiful fall day.
Time
My partner and I were out for a walk snapping photos. She was laying off to the side of this photo watching clouds on a bench while I was around shooting mushrooms and leaves.
Lighting
It as with most of my shots was done with natural lighting.
Equipment
This was taken with a Nikon 5300. I believe I was using the 50mm lens
Inspiration
When I'm out snapping photos I tend to not review them till I get home. I try to shoot from places where we normally do not visit with our eyes to give an interesting perspective. This Photo is from the perspective from a fallen leaf. It is my belief that we should all try to see things from other perspectives.
Editing
There wasn't much post processing done. Lately, I really enjoy using Snapseed for processing.
In my camera bag
I tend to carry an 85, a 50, and a 70-200mm. Sometimes a small tripod... Which I never seem to have it when I need it and never need it when I have it. Beyond that I carry a couple beers and some rolling papers.
Feedback
I'd say try to put your camera in positions you think would be interesting to see things from and try snapping some shots from there. It is helpful to be able to control your camera remotely too. Just shoot!!! I learned on analog and you could never know what you were shooting till you processed the film. When I got a DSLR it was hard not to sit back and analyze each photo after I would take it. This is a waste of time... If you are doing street photography just shoot and see what comes out when you get home. I find it's more fun and way more productive.
