I planned a model photo shoot for a few weeks choosing location, hiring a professional make up artist Catrin was well worth it be prepared to invest alot of money into the make up artist as crucial to get the right looks. I got my photographer friend Mimika Cooney in America to send me a vintage swimsuit and a local boutique The Copper Tree let me have for the day a Joseph Ribkoff dress. It was a brilliant day we had asked Starbucks if we could buy coffee and food all day and do the make up there and change using the toilets there. Yes when you are on location you just get on with it. Starbucks were great. Ruby mum came along too with a suitcase of assessories I wanted 3 different looks, designer dress, sports look and vintage chic with the swimwear. I had found an amazing make up artist Catrin who really understood what we were looking for. We had such an amazing fun day. I just used my Nikon D4s camera a number of lenses, an. LED light and that was it.

Throughout the shoot I gave Ruby my model guidance, feedback and showed her the photos. The photos here the only think I have done is add my details no editing as I like making sure I take the photo right first time. Below is a testimonial from Catrin my make up artist about my work.

A fab day we even had Japenese tourist follow us around and take lots of photos of us it was brilliant.

I had the pleasure of working with Jenny Potter a couple of weeks ago on a model photoshoot and I have to say she is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and worked with. The day itself didn’t feel like work at all! As soon as I arrived she made me feel at ease and she gave me plenty of time to apply the makeup on model Ruby. And I’m soooooo happy with the images from this shoot, I had real trouble choosing my favourites as there was so many I liked – all of them in fact! She is a superb photographer and the quality of images she manages to produce straight from the camera is incredible! If you book a shoot with this lovely lady you won’t be disappointed!
