Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in downtown New Orleans.

Time

It was early in the morning after a slight rain and there were very few people up.

Lighting

Natural light early in the morning.

Equipment

I think I was using my Canon 5D Mark 2 but it could have been the 50D and I do not remember what lens I was using.

Inspiration

I looked over and saw the picture and decided I needed to take a few shots.

Editing

This picture was shot in color I edited it for black and white and boosted the contrast a little.

In my camera bag

Normally in my camera bag is my Canon 5 Mark 2, Canon 100 mm Macro, 85 mm, 28mm, and possibly the 28 - 105L.

Feedback

The key is the lighting so do not try and recreate this photo in full sun because it will not be the same. An early morning like is my favorite light and my favorite time of day to shoot.
