In Puerto Natales, Chile you can find this amazing, rustic sheep processing factory with massive equipment and motors still intact. These are rods that, I believe, were attached to cylinders or pistons. As odd as it may seem, this factory was recently turned into the Singular Hotel and it's a great location for day excursions in Patagonia.
