Location
This was an apartment shoot at a location chosen by the model. Shoots like this challenge your creativity since you have to work with whatever you find on the day. In this case it wasn't too difficult; Kasia had a good range of lingerie to choose from and the white that we opted for here worked well with the colour and patterns of the bedding.Time
Mid morning. There was some natural light from a small window behind me, but most of the light came from an Octobox placed to the left of the model and firing through the bedroom doorway.Lighting
Though I'd taken a big kit bag full of portable lighting options (speed lights with grids, led constant lighting) for this shot I was using a Bowens Gemini strobe triggered by a pocket wizardEquipment

Work with an experienced model who will have ideas to share, but be prepared and assertive enough to try your own. I created a board of inspirational images on Pinterest before the shoot and could refer to it from time to time for posing/compositional ideas.
