Hippocampus bargibanti, also known as Bargibant's seahorse or the pygmy seahorse. They reach a maximum total length of almost 2.7 cm. They are extreme habitat specialists, spending their entire adult life on a single gorgonian fan coral. This particular one was taken at Komodo in Indonesia.

I used a Nikon D300 in an Aquatica housing with two Sea & Sea YS110 strobes. Lens used was a Nikon 60mm.

Camera set to manual mode with these setting:

ISO - 200
Aperture - f-18
Shutter speed - 1-100
