Such a great experience to see the preparation for a wonderful safari trip with a hot air balloon, starting before sunrise. Our boys had a great time, had a lot of fun. Although it was wintertime in Kenya, it was clear weather that day.

Location
This photo is taken in Masai Mara, Kenya. It was our first time in Kenya, an organized safari tour with a jeep. Then I already liked very much photography, but still didn’t have the opportunity to have a camera myself. So I used my mobile for this shot.Time
It’s one of my favorite shots. It was taken at almost 05:00 am. We were there already at 04:30, to see the preparations for the balloons, to take our 2 sons for an unforgettable trip: to see the real wildlife from above.Lighting
For about lightening: a mobile works automatically, for difference in lightening you just move position a bit to get the results you want.Equipment
The mobile I used was iPhone 4s. While turning and moving the camera, I got the lightening and composition I wanted.Inspiration
I like to capture important and amazing moments the way I see them. For me this was the perfect moment: morning light, moment of filling the balloon, the fire and the colorsEditing
There was no need to do any post-processing.In my camera bag
Nowadays I use for unexpected trips a Nikon Coolpix A900 and when I intend to go on a trip especially for photography, or night photography, I use Nikon D7000 (and bring the Coolpix as well)Feedback
Kenya is a unique place. When looking back, and having more experience (mostly all self taught), a next time I would bring the 2 cameras AND the mobile (iPhone X), lots of extra batteries, and I would buy special lenses too, as well for close ups as for far distances (though the zoom of Coolpix A900 has an excellent zoom, and is compacted, easy to put in a pocket, bit thicker than mobile).
