Winter sunset over the docks and industrial centre at Immingham, North Lincolnshire. The River Humber was one of the busiest estuaries in the UK but the decline of fishing, as well as the ship repair and building industries, has left the area impoverished. It's still important for cargo and recently Siemens developed a wind turbine industry in the Hull area, to build and service off-shore wind farms. And with Hull being the UK city of culture in 2017 perhaps a resurgence is about to happen.
