Tranquility, almost perpetual, at the shore

I don’t remember now why I didn’t do any night photography that night at Moraine Lake. But I woke up early to catch the sunrise. After early breakfast, I had everything packed up and ready to go, picked up my camera gear and strolled around the lake counter clockwise, looking for a spot to settle in. While enjoying that early morning before the sunrise moment, I knew the sun would rise over the area where we camped, so I trod a little bit. Loved the tranquility, almost perpetual, at the shore. Birds chirped, and the water was calm but gently disturbed by the fish jumping out of it to catch flies. While enjoying the solitude, part of me wished that I could stay here for another day… Then I remembered a bit of distance to cover to reach Kern Hot Springs. Supposed to be all downhill, I was looking forward to it.
