These are siblings growing up in the Ecuadorian Amazon, near Tena. Their mother is the local teacher and the school is one hour away on foot. The father serves as guide to tourists and shaman. The family shares their humble living quarters to make a living - this experience was unique and we learned a lot about medicinal plants and survival in the jungle. Photo taken early evening with no flash.
